He is proficient at reading the slip and wing passes, and that is an underrated trait to have. One of the things about muncho that is underrated is his passing ability.
He knows how to score out of the corner, but won’t force anything if it isn’t there. He isn’t the best shooter, but he won’t cost his team by his shooting ability. Munchho is a very good on-ball defender, knowing which animations to use in order to get plucks, seldom getting fried. In my opinion, when he is locked in, there are few better than him. If he can lock in and be a consistent + elite defender, he will be an asset to any NBA 2K League team.
He could go into a series and box up the best guard on the game, and then the next he could be fried by a less quality guard. The consistency with Future Clutch is sometimes lacking. He is a lock that has solid half-court defense. He played sharpshooter in 2K19, as well as for a couple of tournaments this 2K, and he was pretty good.
If he can lock in, be a better listener, and really fine-tune his defensive game, there is no reason he shouldn’t be considered a top lock.Ĭlutch is a player that can be moved around the court wherever a team might need him. I think Notorious has the potential to be a dog, but just a few things get in his way. On the defensive end, he relies on his center a bit too much. What I mean by that is his offense can sometimes make up for what he lacks on defense. Notorious is a lock that is widely known for his offensive ability while utilizing a primarily defensive archetype.
Other than that, there isn’t much left to criticize on Goon’s game. Sometimes, he will try to make a pass or a play that isn’t there, resulting in a poor take or a turnover. Another piece of Goon’s game that needs work is his playmaking. If he can improve that part of his game, his stock will soar. The problem with Goon is he can get crabbed on occasion when the center will slip and he is left on an island with the guard. He is a solid shooting lock, and he can play really solid defense. The Canadian native has been around since the dying embers of 2K19 and has gotten better with each game. There is no reason that Putback shouldn’t be noticed as a solid prospect.
He can also play power forward, which is a bonus for his stock. He is one of the only locks that I can remember seeing who doesn’t need a press to get stops. He knows the animations, he knows how to get bump steals, in fact, he has good bump all the way up the floor. He is really good at getting on-ball steals. You can’t go wrong with Zakyy.Ī guy that doesn’t say much on twitter, so you may not know him, but he is a quality lock. He shoots well off the catch and will often take a smart mid-range jumper if the defense allows. If you need a guy to punch in, play defense, and punch out, Zakyy is your guy. He has good bump in the half court, and can play straight up defense. He won the first ever league tourney this year with Tunnel Vision. He has been grinding for a spot back for a while. Zakyy has been hooping since he wasn’t picked back up in season 3. Regardless, we are going to get right into it, and my job is to give the best description I can as to what each individual does well and what they need to work on. People will probably be unhappy with a few things in them, but since you can change them, I personally thank the people that took the time to make it in the first place. There are alot of locks to discuss, but the issue is, how can you truly differentiate a lock from another lock? I feel as though discussing locks is as easy as one has stick and the other has less stick. I have classes all the way up to 2015 (though I know the players in it by than are a major stretch). I know Shamon has the most downloaded classes, but the other one had just been updated. I downloaded a bunch from a guy with a Kings logo. It is a great feature and saves you the time of having to enter a lot of things yourself.
Really though, you can just flat out download the class and make whatever changes you would like. I tend to like my ratings slightly higher than most, but at the same time I have no one in this current class above an 80 and only three above a 75. Making slight changes, some of them seem to be a little off in the player attribute departments, but all in all if you get a good one you at least have a nice head start to a pretty realistic draft class. I downloaded some of them and have been toying around with ratings and such. You need to have an XBox live subscription, and of course be connected to the internet.
